I love how Sam and Dean just accept what has happened and roll with it. I love all the little details you added for all the characters.
I'm glad you liked that. It was something I had to think about as to whether or not they would break down--as most people would if their dead father starting writing to them--or handle it, bite the bullet, and just do what had to be done. So, it's good to know that their characterizations worked in this story.
