Spoilers: Only a little tiny one for “Pilot.”

Author’s Notes: In “Pilot,” when Dean comes to Stanford and asks Sam to join him, Sam refuses to go and stays behind in California instead. These are the years that follow their separation. It’s longer than I would have liked, but when the plot bunny tugged on my sleeve and looked up at me with those big, pretty eyes, I couldn’t get it to be quiet once I started writing. So, my word count is 3726 as such.
