John is now endeared to me in the way the show still has not succeeded.
I'm so glad to hear that because that's exactly what I was trying to get across through this fic. I never cared for John much myself, but after watching "Shadows," I felt more compassionate for him and wanted to give him another try. So, again, I'm glad you got this feeling from the fic--even if not yet from the show.
Also, (if you don't mind, that is), what's teardrop's username? I did a search under user for "teardrop" and what I found didn't match anything. I'd just like to thank them for the rec, (as I didn't know about it) and a rec is probably one of the best kind of compliments, so thanks is in order.
