Dean didn't understand why Sam got so pissy whenever they had to go shopping. Shit. Sam acted like he was embarrassed to go shopping with Dean some days. So, when Dean told Sam that he had to go to the store to pick up a few things, he was surprised when Sam closed his laptop and said, "I'll come along."

They were cutting through the bathroom section, trying to get over to the shampoo aisle--damn Sam and his friggin' mane--when Dean had to snort as they passed an aisle.

"What?" Sam asked.

"Did you see that?"

"See what?"

For as smart as Sam was, he sure could be awful dense sometimes. Dean backed up, pulling the shopping cart along with him, and stopped in front of a rainbow display of towels and washcloths, soap dispensers and rugs.

"Looks like the gay pride people were here," Dean commented.

Sam rolled his eyes. "Dude. The gay jokes? Are not all that funny."

"What? You want me to prove that I'm totally okay with the gayness?"

"Huh?"

Dean smirked as his cock twitched at the thought of stripping Sam down and spending the rest of the day in bed together. Sam didn't think that Dean was comfortable with that part of his sex life? Oh. Dean definitely had to correct the boy.

"Dean?" Sam was saying. "What are you thinking about now?"

Dean chuckled. "Just wondering how fast I can get us back to the hotel room, Sammy."

One of the many things that I love about your fic is that it always makes me see things in Sam and Dean that I would have never thought of them doing or being. Like Dean pushing a shopping cart...not something that I'd ever see him doing. But then, now that you've said it, he would be the kind of guy to just hop on to the back and ride through the parking lot to the car. I love it!

Now, not that I'm demanding or anything, but the idea that Sam wouldn't want to go shopping with Dean just begs for an explanation. Seriously, it does.

Thank you! I think, yeah, Dean definitely would just hop in the shopping cart and go whizzing through the parking lot while poor Sam had to chase after him. Hee. I like, too, being able to show them as more than just the "stereotypical," per se, version that's portrayed a lot. It's kinda fun. :)
