Responding to the drabble meme for mmarinov and mellaithwen...

Mellaithwen: Either Dark Angel, Max/Alec or Supernatural, Sam teasing Dean and hitting a nerve. This is what I picked between the two.

Sam pulls Dean’s duffel bag out of the trunk at the newest motel, and a tattered lump tumbles to the ground.

 

As Sam is picking up the object, Dean comes out of the office.

 

“A teddy bear, Dean? Don’t you think we’re a little old for that?”

 

Dean silently snatches the dingy bear away, while Sam continues mercilessly.

 

Then Dean snaps, “Mom made it for me. She made it for my birthday the same year she died.”

 

When Sam goes to bed that night, he places the bear on Dean’s pillow and watches his older brother sleep under black-buttoned eyes.

 

  

Mmarinov: Dark Angel, Thoughts of Alec during his flashbacks of Manticore and such from "The Berrisford Agenda"

He had stopped screaming two days ago.

 

Now, there’s blood on his lips—the lips that she had kissed with smiles and laughter—as he lies in the dank basement with the monsters. The ‘nomlies hiss and claw at their doors, while his eyes float in his heavy head.

 

He hadn’t been a Simon to himself.

But he had been someone to her.

 

But, they force his humanity from him; they shred his soul and tear his memories. They destroy the light within until he answers, “X5-494, sir” without a tear in his eye or her memory in his heart.

Oh, it took me forever to think of one that fit your prompt. I had all these ideas that I kept scribbling down and none of them seemed to work. I hope you liked this one. *looks hopeful*

Dude, I actually had to go back and rewatch "The Berrisford Agenda." I knew what Marinov was talking about, but I just had to see it all over again. (Plus, do you really think I'll turn down a chance to see Jensen as oh-so-hot Alec? ;) ) So, yeah, go watch. Because he's hot, and it's sad, and it's one of my favorite DA eps.

I watched Borrowed Time after Hell House, to be reminded of Alec and his chest after seeing Sam's :D

Hot Alec getting tortured, hot Jason getting tortured in one ep...*sigh* oh the PIANO, and Max being a total moo but ah they belong together

Eh, I was never much of a Max/Alec shipper (but I think that's just because I really hated the character of Max more often than not).

And the piano? Jensen Ackles + piano = my OTP :D

Ugh.

I always thought she and Logan deserved each other. He was so whiny and ack. Give me Zack, Ben, Alec for my men, and let me go on that show. Although, for a girl, Tinga and Brin were pretty cool.

All right, fine, I liked all of the X5s except Max. *sighs* (Does that make me a bad fan?)

Only a bad Max fan I think, ah s1 kinda...blah-ed me, and then oh hello Ben ^_^ but omg Nikki Aycox; I hated her then, I hate her now. Zach was kinda...meh, don't remember him much from s1 and then kinda annoying in s2

Alec, Alec will never annoy me never ever ever ever and ffs why aren't there enough stories out there :'( they're all so smutty now...

Nikki Aycox. Yeah, I wasn't real fond of the idea "Syl" from S1, and now? Well, she's better now, thankfully.

S2 Zack, I didn't like at all. They messed his personality up so much. I think the reason I liked him so much in S1 was because I hadn't yet met the beauty that is known as Jensen Ackles. ;)

Ditto on the Alec part. I was saying to Marinov that I've really got this need to write DA fanfic again with all the talk about it lately. Alec seems like a good place to start. (Are there even any LJ DA communities running anymore? I'm not real hot on the idea of posting DA fic in ff.net, as that is all smut over there.)

I have no idea, it took me long enough to find the spn communities lol. Only DA thing I've got is a crossover, and I'm gonna post it in the spn part of ff.net which is thankfully smut free so far...)

I have found a bit of smut on the SPN section of ff.net, but nothing major. There's a few Wincest, and a few Mary-Sue sexin', but I think it's still fairly safe.

(Although I tend not to go wandering around ff.net as much as possible unless I get a rec from somebody.)

hate wincest so just...can't read...and honestly, unless the mary sue is REALLY obvious, I don't see it half the time
